At least two people have been killed after a boat capsized off the coast of San Diego on Sunday.

The San Diego Fire and Rescue Department, local lifeguards, the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies responded to reports of a shipwreck off the coast of Point Loma off the coast around the Gabriello National Monument in San Diego.

STFT Said In a series of updates, 25 people were rescued from the water, but two did not survive. The rescued took 23 people to local hospitals for treatment.

San Diego Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Jose Ysia said The San Diego Union-Tribune He saw a large “garbage field” in the water.

“It’s very rocky out there, and the waves, when they weren’t too high, they felt very strong,” he said, with enough force to push a boat into the rocks.

Using boats and planes, federal agencies are constantly searching for survivors.
